This page carried a press release announcing John’s hospitalization for and recovery from triple-bypass surgery last year.

As of this writing, John appears to have made a complete recovery and we have played quite a few gigs together. With the help of your kind donations and the assistance of several musicians’ aid foundations, the hospital and doctors have been fully paid, which fact contributes mightily to the continued well-being of the Koerner ticker.
